When i got my cossie it was on wasted spark. The old elliot tacho died so Matt put back in the standard tacho. Standard one reads the idle but anything over 2k revs it goes spastic and drops below zero i think.

My mate happened to have another elliot gauge so has put that in and now the gauge moves but seems to read double what it should be reading.

How can i fix it?

iv all so got problems with my rev counter but not like yours mate its just a ere as it gose up the revs no my 3dr tick over its ok at about 3,000 the motor is doing about 3,500 and at about 6,000 its 1,000 out the only way i new this was when martin had it on the rollers and fort the car had a miss fire but it turned out to be the rev limiter

 

O and iv sent stu at MSD a PM about this but no reply as yet to me they seam to be happy to sell the stuff but dont wont to no when it comes to sorting the problem out with there stuff
