anyone got any pics of a red sierra cossie 3dr,

cant find any and cant get it out of my mind

seems like a nice colour

 

You may find pics of red coloured rally cars, but it was never a production colour for the 3dr road cars. There was possibly A/couple of pre prodution cars done in red. I remember meeting a guy with one nearly 15 yrs ago (maybe longer) who I asked if he'd done a convertion from a red 3dr sierra or resprayed a cossy. He said "no, it came that colour from ford". He actually didn't like it, he wanted to spray it black, but as it was from the factory he was reluctant.
The base model sierra 3dr came in Cardinal red, I know, I had one. which I scrapped

 

i know the cossie's didnt but it just sitting in the front of my mind
a bright red rs500 lol

I know a guy up the road from me who has a red one, something to with royal mail

 

Vince Woodman the race driver/garage owner had his original red 3dr cosworth at Combe last year, not to everyones taste, was supplied by Ford to a Duke then bought by Vince who has owned it since the 80s. Only known original Ford one is existance.
