From all you escort and fiesta van drivers, what ya think, might get a 1.8 Derv as a run about now that I have given up on the XR3i. Seems to be loads of em on flea bay atm.

So what do you guys think? Get maybe a Mk3 fiesta van and do it up with XR2i bits

 

u might want to check insurance as somtimes they can be funny with vans. Well so i have been told. But imo why bother just get the car equivilant Unless u want to make deliveries?

 

as rhys said its harder to get insurance cover on vans as ive fund out, also you cant drive other cars on your policy as its not a car

 

yeah stu i agree you might have problems with insuring vans insurers are wankers just get ya self anything cheap and focus on building ya show car or just fuck the cabby of aswell and buy a new project thats up and running

 

didn't realise it was difficult getting insurance on a van.... thought they would jump at the chance.

The reason I have been thinking about a van is because it would be useful to tow things with and the space in the back would mean I can lug car bits about in it
