i want to run a unsilenced screamer pipe on my s1 with a stage3 t3 and run high boost of around 25psi as my engine is built for this....

whats the best way of doing it?
and would i need a custom manifold?
and did raj at autoflock ever get his kit to work?

i want a naughty sounding car again as my last real toy was a 220bhp+ aspirated cosworth mk2 escort on 48s ect and miss the mental noises lol

 

speek to ram of hear mate he had one on his fiesta rs turbo sounded nice

why they sound shit? or why the screamer pipe?

 

Running 25psi your engine will sound plenty savage enough lol, they really bark running that boost!

 

leave it with the spec you have, will sound naughty enough

 

My question "why" was aimed at the topic title.

As i know how they sound and what you dont gain by fitting one.

 

so are they a waste of time as i was saving for a brian hansen manifold that comes with a external wastegate and screamer take off to run a t34.48 and then i wanted a wacky inlet to match thats why i want to sell my inlet...... and was thinking of selling my brand new stage 3 t3 and autospecialist manifold

its a cr turbos stage 3 t3 with t4 wheel cut back blades and its .48/60 ect top spec avalible and its been on the car to the mot station and then the block started leaking water so i had to rebuild my car so the turbo has only done 10miles

well it may be for sale if i can find a cossy turbo and down pipe other wise im going to keep it and run a much boost as possible

i think im only going to fit one with a proper manifold like brain hansen ect with a proper turbo....

 

ive got a sreamer pipe runing off a 38mm turbosmart external waste gate. i needed one as my turbo is not internaly gated

you dont really hear it over the engine and turbo, its only loud to the people outside of the car.

 

im not going to bother as it means ive got to sell my turbo and get another and cant afford it coz ive got another project now so need to save some money untill i sell my r6
