working in dudley on monday, left my xr2i in an open air carpark just in the town centre. got a call about 3pm from the old bill saying traffic wardens checking tickets had found it abaondoned in the road with ignition damage

got to the car to find the door and lock fucked, ignition barrel out and steering column fucked. theyd tryed to get it going but failed because of the immobiliser, then tried to bump it, and failed again obviously.

it wouldnt be as bad but this is the second time this has happened, and the third time someones been into the car. fucking pisses me off

ive had it with the car now, gonna fuck it off, i cant stand constantly being worried about it whenever im not with it. it isnt even safe at home as thats where it was stolen from the first time.

Unfortunatly as it's an xr2 it has the joy rider badge on it, does it not have an alarm fitted, I think if you was gunna keep it then get an alarm with a perimiter warning, they'll know then that it'll not be as easy and probs stear clear, such a shame though as it's your pride and joy, that's why I'm glad I'm driving a shit box ATM as I'm sure i'v now got creases in my door from parking it places, most fuckers just have no respect for other peoples stuff

 

no alarm, should have got one sorted really seeing as i can fit them. just never got round to it. oh well, fuck it, time for something else. its a shame as i loved the car but its only a car. its covered in dents from other cars too, as i have to leave it in carparks everyday for work.

same happened to my m8 last year they tried stealing it off his drive, damaged the steering column door and lock and couldnt get it going due to the immobiliser so they pushed it in to the middle of the road and left it, fukin scum they are, if your worried about sum peice of scum at ur insurance giving ur details to theives then just register ur car at a diff address ie your nans like i do

 

and im so glad my car is hiden and no way of getting to it.
