8 gig or 16 gig?

I think the norm is pretty much once a day.

during the week when it gets used a lot, everyday.

at the weekends I don't often use it so it lasts without a charge until Sunday night

Every day, sometimes more than once, and I dont want to have to disable all its features just to make it last 2 days instead, if I wanted a phone with a dim screen and no wireless etc etc I would have bought one!

So I take it you wanted a phone that won't bluetooth to anything non apple, can't take pictures in the dark, something you cant take away for more than a day without the charger, something that doesnt MMS, something that doesnt do video calling, something that has no expandable memory, so you bought an iphone?

same here! I charge mine more than once a day. I carry a blackberry around as well as you can't rely on an iPhone. They WILL always let you down. Terrible as a phone.

Great as a toy and for Internet on move.

Batterys are bad BUT only because they are such fun so you use them all time for stuff.

exactly as i do and if i don't rape my phone with txt's and the internet then it'll last ages too.

i have my brightness turned to nearly minimum and only really notice it when it's really really bright and even then it's not much of an issue (for me anyway).

and as for disabling features well if i'm not using bluetooth it's turned off and so is wireless if i'm out and about aswell as gps and 3g, all it's features take seconds to get back online so turning them back on when needed isn't exactly a ball ache, imo obviously but i find it no bother just to retain the battery life a bit longer.

i do fully agree that the battery life in general is a bit poo but it also has quite a big screen and it will get used alot with net surfing and calls and txt's so we can't expect miricles, if i don't use my phone much and it's just on standby then it'll last a few days easily, my n95 could drain in a day if i used it as much as my iphone but as it didn't have the features like the iphone it seem's to have a better battery life, imo obviously

So just as bad as my Blackberry then. I can rinse my battery from a full charge in a matter of hours the fucking thing goes through it like lightning. Bluetooth streaming audio in the car, constantly on BB messenger, phone calls, media player on the train. Few hours and 80-90% of the battery has gone to shit. Wish they would fit decent capacity batteries to phones that have a large power drain!

Just when it needs it really, never found it a problem, there again I don't use push E-mail on it anymore and turn off 3G unless I need it, Iphone can MMS and has done for ages it was in V3 of Iphone along with alot of other features. Iphone can see other Iphones and car kits on bluetooth.

You can't as been said Iphone can only see other Iphones and car kits. No doubt there is a hack for this though or indeed "An app for that"

P.S I-phones are great for taking pictures of your friend having a shit from the next cubicle, because it's on Facebook before he's flushed.

You cant !
You can download an app to allow to other iphones only

To me, this is the biggest issue apart from the battery life

is there not even an app once it's jailbroke as it'll pic up car stereo's and bluetooth head set's so it's not like it's an iphone specific bluetooth, is it?
