help with no sound
Had to get a new motherboard for my pc which is a asus p5ql pro, trouble is i cant get any sound from it, checked all i can think of, drivers are up to date etc, device manager shows everything as working, just no sound ?

if its win7 sometimes you need to go into control panel, sound manager and select the audio device.
with technology getting smarter these day it can pick up the strangest outputs as sound capable devices, for example my graphics cards have HDMI and through this I can output sound, if these are selected as the preferred device then my regular 3.5mm jacks dont work.
