I use these:

So i can do this:

The axle stands are used more but i need to get under car easier and dont fancy lying on ground getting covered in shit. So i made these rollover-jigs.

Took a few weeks on and off and cost about 50quid all in. Most of tubes were scrap from and old farm door. I can wheel it down the yard to our jetwash bay now and clean it inside out and underneath.

i'd say the stands were more important the jack, as your car is gunna be on the stands alot longer than the jack although if you can stretch to it go for the jig/spit option as its so much easier to work on the sills and underneath while your stood up lol

I agree, tis why i built mine. Plus its mobile now and not stuck in one spot on the floor. I'd hate to be lay underneath while stripping that rubber underbody coating off!
