Question Dry Sump Installation advice

Morning Guys,

Just wondering whether any of you can guide me in picking and installing a dry sump set-up for my 4x4 200 block - 2wd car though?

I have looked at doing this before and put it into the 'too hard basket' as nobody could tell me what happens to the under piston oil cooling nozzles / set-up.

oh & where would i plumb in the GGR breather return?

Does anybody have any advice for a a Dry sump virgin?

What brand is recommended / easiest to install?

Any down sides / positives?

Does anybody have a kit for sale I could buy?

Thanks,

Peter

The piston oil cooling has to be done with spray jet nozzles machined into the block like the ones that small turbo Escos has, I have used the WRC Mountune items but other makes of engines have them. Where the original oil pump sat needs to be blanked off.

The breather system can be sold as the engine crankcase runs under a vacuum, the cam cover needs to suck air from the oil reservoir tank with a small NRV (non return valve) in the line, the oil reservoir tank needs to breath into a catch tank but if the system works correctly it should never fill up.

I have the PACE system and have had no problems with it (yet).

I hope this helps
