as title whats the asking price for a clean, good example erst athe minute. am thinking of geting rid but dont know if i can bring myself to do it.

looking throught piston heads and ebay i would say 5 6 grand for a stunner

 

For a mint one Ł3500-5000, tidy Ł2000-3000, sheds Ł1750 and below at the end of the day you get what you pay for depends on milege, history, how much welding its had mods etc etc

 

Some strong prices being quoted here !


I've not long bought a H plate one with a fucked engine, tidy body with only minimal rust spots for Ł200

 

You obviously got a bargain there m8, but if you look on ebay, pistonheads, autotrader, rallye news, s2rs.co.uk, you will soon see what they are going for

since the above pictures i had the engine out new front panel and had slam panel smoothed and all engine bay and front wings rersprayed.

this isnt a for sale thread im just after a rough price of what it would be worth as i am unsure of whether to throw in the towel or not.

 

At the end of the day, its only worth what someone is willing to give for it

So depending on how much you think its worth and what would Joe Bloggs pay for it is what matters.

Looks a gorgeous car though

 

You're lucky as your looking at a wider market to sell to with a modded one. Trying to sell my standard s2 and I get plenty of compliments but no genuine interest. Yet...

 

3K upwards for decent example.Think alot of people are forgetting that the Sr2 is becoming a classic like the Sr1 now.I must admit i have seen some shocking prices for Sr2 and they aint worth half the price they asking for.But the really mint examples will go for the right price.

 

id say 2500 up for a decent car.car above in pics looks a plus 3k car to me but with these cars you need to look underneath to get a real idea. IMO

 

Looks a very nice example m8 i would say Ł3.5k-Ł4k also dependant on condition underneath and whether you leave cossie rims on lol as the spec is good too

If its as good as it looks in the pics, i.e a nice straight car with no signs of the dreaded tin worm id aggree with the above also 3.5-4k

 

thats why most get broken for parts shame realy.
