who knows if the wiring for the water injection pumps on an early escos is there - are they wired up to the ecu and have a feed from the fuse box ? would the right chip drive them from the ecu or would it need a pectel board modifying with an extra output to drive them - would the best bet to get them to work be run them off the SECS monitor?

 

I think you do need a pectal board for water injection, but I'm not 100% sure. I will be hooking mine up in a week or two. Basically one wire from pin 12 (I think) to a relay to two washer pumps inline. I think the SECS monitor is the same way with wire to relay to two pumps. The diagram is in the rally manuals (which i think are still online somewhere).

You can get the spray jet from Mountune for 10 pounds too.

i have the pumps and the jet (just no bag in the boot yet) but the pipe is there ready - i have a AB stg 3 on a pectel board- i assumne thius would need mapping to incorporate the water injection.

 

I think the board needs modifying or changing to be honest Dave.
