Not the first time i've seen this done.

Saw it done on a couple of SUV's somewhere in America.

 

There was a link posted up on here a while bk about this conversion, as blackRS said it was being done on SUVs!!!

Looks a bit wank, external wastegate? wouldnt it be loud as fook?

 

I posted this up fookin AGES ago, the company doing them sell them like it so they can fit them really fast. The designer claims because the exhaust gasses are cooler you can run a smaller turbo which eliminates the lag.

I think it's pretty cool, nice to see someone thinking outside the box.

The results they claim to have had are good too.
