Default Panic help - part needed asap

****HELP****

Took the Car out for a spin this afternoon to start bedding the brakes in.

Started to get a bit of steam through the bonnet vents, opened the bonnet and the battery area was covered in my new anti-freeze and the header tank almost empty.

Could not find where it was coming from for ages after I had dried all the pipes looking for splits.

Filled the expansion bank up, started the car and finally found it.

It is the finnest of sprays coming out of the bung in the top of the thermostat housing/swirl pot.

I am booked on track at Kames in 2-days, is this bung available or does anyone have a spare thermostat housing close to Glasgow.

Knock the bung out, tap it - fit a bolt and copper washer

I'm a bit faraway and don't trust the PO to get it here in time.

Back in from the garage.

Holed 10mm Core Plug Removed.

TOP TIP, put a hose clamp on the bottom of the header tank before you remove or you get a wet garage floor............

EXHIBIT A, you can just make out the whole in the top centre.

Thanks again for all your help and advice!
