RS Turbo Concentric Slave Conversion
Hi i have an RS200 prototype that was rejected when the RS200 was designed the car uses a 1600 rs turbo engine and box but this is mid mounted which makes gear and clutch linkages a bit of a night mare the car originally used a cable linkage to the clutch but this was crap so that was binned and my old man and his kit car mates created a horrific hydaulic clutch system which actuates the original clutch arm via a huge amount of springs and rods.
My opinion is this is rubbish to so my plan is to convert to a concentic clave so that clutch actuation can be done more easily.
I asked burton power if they could help with a conversion and this was a complete waste of my time.
Are there any boxs which use a concentric slave which will fit the rs turbo block without an adaptor. if not has anyone got any ideas which will make my life easier as i have no ford knowledge i usually play with Jap cars. Existing boxs which will need adapter plates?
Other wise i'm going to have to remove the existing box and begin custom fabricating to make say a mk4 fiesta slave fit.
Help please?????????????????????????????????

Still a bit baffled by all the ford gearbox codes and things but for the moment i think i will create a bracket and fit a new slave as the first conversion pictured i have almost everything fitted already apart from the gearbox end. (0.75 MC and full braided clutch line to rear of the car)
A box change is still on the cards possibly with a cable linkage as the existing linkage is not ideal to say the least. Just got to get my head around the linkage with the drivetrain at the wrong end of the car.
For the moment the original box stays in because the engine and box have to come out to remove the box due to limited space in the engine compartment.
Will try and dig out a picture can't find any one my laptop so will have too raid the old mans computer.
