ive just finished putting my mates combi van together using an efi xr3i loom and using an ofab ecu,ive made the changes to the loom to run ofab management and i know it works as the loom came out of my own car which was running,ive got spark and the fuel pump primes ok and the fuel rail fills with petrol,the problem ive got is that the injectors arent firing so cant get the car started,the relays and fuses all seem fine and cant find any breaks in the wiring,anybody got any ideas atall please,the car is all ready to go but i just caant get it started,is there a possibilty that the ecu could be knackered or is it a different problem

 

ive tried a voltmeter at the injectors and the voltage doesnt drop atall when i try to start the car,im stumped at the moment and been on it for a good 6 hours running through everything and just cant seem to figure it out atall

 

Had this problem with my cab mate it was a bad earth on the loom in the end

 

check all earths, wireing, are the injecters good?

 

i will check all the earths in the morning then go from there,my mate is going to try and get hold of another ecu to try aswell but hopefully it will be an earth

 

have you got fuel mate ? is this ants one

 

yes mate its ants one its all done except it wont fire up,its got fuel getting to the fuel rail just the injectors wont fire for some reason
