Default co help

Fitted a new msd chip at the weekend for my new spec, got the chip in set the fuel pressure to 3.5 bar with the vacume pipe off, now ive only just got round to setting the co, i popped down to me local garage and on first inspections it was 10% msd advise 2.7-3 %.

Had a liltle playu around but couldnt get it below 8.5, why is this ???

i turned the scre a fair few times and wonder if ive fucked it, ive also herd that it can sometimes need re-setting...

im going to ring msd in the morning for advise but thought id ask on here first as im an impatien fucker

Did you plug the vac pipe to the FRP when you set the fuel pressure?

Do you know what the AFR is at idle? I'm assuming it isn't closed loop?

Scrap it!!!!!!!!

What you should do mate is put it on a set of dark greens, stick a T4 on it and wind the boost up to 45 psi. The injectors you have now are WAY too big!

Remember that 2 bar map sensor you sent me ?

That was needed as my cossie was showing 8% and no amount of adjusting could get the co down.

Once fitted it was back to normal.

I didnt know it was so high until m.o.t. time !!
