The Escort Cosworth intercooler has the supplimentary charge-cooler arrangement on, so is even more efficient than the 4x4 item. This can be further improved by a stand alone radiator and pump (the Escort uses the engine coolant to take away the initial heat, as this runs at 87°C and the pre-cooler intake temps can be as high as 150-175°C). This intercooler has been modified for a friend to fit a Sierra (brackets repositioned), but he has now sold the car, so it is surplus to requirements.
