welcome to the modellers corner mate, i like that little clio, start off with something simple, perhaps paint the clio in one colour and stick the xsara wheels on it?

I used the nirtomors thats in the green can.

The clio's rather nice with that wing on. I would go with a metallic colour & strip off the number from the windows aswell but leave 'Renault Sport' on the windscreen.

I use brake fluid on some but nail varnish remover pads on others. The pads need to be acetone free aswell.

Used brake fluid on my Mk3 Escort and the orignal laquer went dull but the pads left it shiny.

I havent used halfords primer, but the grey primer i used did come off with nitromors.

The Clio looks good. The tyres look so much better without the logo on aswell.
