Beefy. It's Ł75 for a day ticket, not including booking fee and you won't be able to camp for that.

Add an extra Ł15 for camping I belive.

It's Ł170 for weekend ticket with 3 nights camping or Ł180 with 5 nights camping.

Parking is an extra Ł15 and then you have booking fee on top.

I would LOVE to see acdc and if they were on the Saturday instead of the Friday I'd do it.

 

I went in 2004. Awesome line up, loved the music, but couldn't hack the camping again. Conditions and facilities are MINGING!

 

AC/DC are awesome

my father in law been to see ac/dc quite a few times and says they are 1 of the best groups he has ever seen live, get your money out beef and go see them coz if you dont and its there last tour you will regret it.

I'd get on it soon, I'd imagine a lot of people are thinking the same about ACDC (not lasting much longer) and the day tickets for Friday will sell out pretty quick.

It's a good day out, I managed to blag a ticket for Sunday last year. Wouldn't camp though, well rough

 

Guns n Roses are back at Leeds festival again aren't they? I was there the last time in 2002 I think, that will be mad. Looks like some good lineups about, U2 and Muse at Glastonbury etc.

 

guns n roses are nowhere near as cool as they used to be though
wish the proper lineup would gt back together

 

I used to frequent the original monsters of rock every year and the year AC/DC headlined my mate had his wedding , i flipped a coin and wedding won , how i regret that decision ever since !!
I live about 5 miles as the crow fly's , if that from donny but i'd be up for camping for a laugh to spend the weekend there and see them .

Yeah maybe and times do change etc. I don't see what the advantage would be with Axl bringing them back (if he could) unless we're talking about song writing like some of the old classics.

Live show wise it makes no difference, in fact they're probably better now. Will be a good show yet again no doubt as they just have so many songs and Axl is always up for it. End of the day Axl is headling that after putting an album out and doing no promo work for it at all, Velvet are doing fuck all. I don't recall them headlining any big shows or did they? I bet if Axl was game he could headline the lot.

 

yeah well there last album was naff compared to the old stuff the originals did
and slash wrote some good stuff for vr that i dare say prolly wouldve been much bigger hits under the guns n roses name with axls singing and input instead of him wasting away all them years

 

velvet may be doing fuck all but seen as though slash has just released a solo album i'm pretty sure that can be forgiven !

 

Couldn't 'replace' Axl first time around so this time he has got ten singers in to do the job.




You'd have better luck getting Axl to arrive on time for a gig than those lot. Nice lineup though.

Ive been a regular at Download for the last 6years this is the only year I'll not be going, cos of the car, but I still get to go see Rage on june 6th.
If you go Beefy and camp are you going to be brave and camp witht the masses of camp vip, cause camping with the masses is the best thing ever, if you up for not much sleep, not going for a shit all weekend, and living with only waht you need. I,e what i do, 1 pair of shorts, few tees, some boxers and a tent, then the rest is beer and weed. Camping in with the masses is def something everyone should do once in life, as there is nothing better than wlking around the campsite at 5in the morning with a beer singing complete stranger!

 

Unless you camp next to dickheads like I did at sonisphere last year. Bunch of complete tools who went nicking other peoples tents, chairs, food, beer etc.

 

Suprised they didnt get their heads kicked in! I was there last year, would have leathered them if they try our tent
