just wonderd what sort of bhp can i get with a standerd cossy yb lump and what would i need to get around 330bhp

a good reliable 350-380.

You will need dark green injectors, 3 bar map sensor, t34.48, Larger intercooler, Suitable chip. That should be all you need mate and you will get a good 330-350

and would be worthwhile sticking a 044 pump and rewire kit on to make sure you get lots of fuel

cool i have the pump already just need an engine now lol but cant seem to find a half descent 1 at a descent price what sort of money should i be looking at for engine/box/ecu/loom?

i do have some injectors but not sure they be right they are 480cc/min@3bar 15.6 ohms i think high impeadance

id alow around 3k for a engine, 500 for a decent box and a couple hundred for diff.. loom and ecu maybe around 500.

so about 4500 for the engine and that? seems a bit steep realy

Yh around there mate dont forget thats for a decent engine, You can pick ones up that have done a million miles for about 1500-2000 but will need a rebuild so theres no savings really.

look through the cossie bits for sale to get an idea of price ... i dont think that 4.5k is too far fetched for a reliable engine, gearbox, turbo loom and ecu and intercooler .. could use a standard 4wd one as an upgrade but tbh a rs500 sized one would be better...
dont forget when a cossie engine goes wrong it can be a huge cost to rebuild it ..
