Right guys im after afew ideas as to why my zvh turbo engine wont start
Ive just finished off putting the car together and it wont run it starts but dies again after a couple of seconds
Ive got fuel upto the metering unit and fuel to the cold start injector which im guessing is what its running on for the few seconds but im not getting any fuel upto the injectors and i dont know why ?
Ive got a good spark at the plugs, the fuel pump is primeing as it should and i can hear the pump running whilst im cranking the engine over so im hopeing its going to be some thing stupid ive not done
Ive done a search on here and got afew things to try this afternoon after dinner but id like afew more ideas aswell please guys

Right ive had a little play yesterday and ive got fuel at the metering unit unions as i undone them one at a time whilst cranking it over but im not getting anything at the injector end and i cant work out why ?
Ive tried the holding the flap down thing and it didnt do anything differant to what it has been doing.
Ive tried a differant fuel pump relay as i read that that might have been my problem and it didnt make a differance.
After trying these bits i thought id check if i was getting anything down the return to complete the curcuit to which im not so im leaning towards either the fuel pumps duff and not supplying enough pressure or the pressure regulators gone up the spout could some body shed some light on the subject for me please before i stick it on a trailor and pay some body to do it ?

hi mate mine was down to a weak pump if you got a spare one to try
cheak all pipes ect for leaks

 

My mates got a cossie pump so i'll give that a try its so annoying its so bloody close to running but it just wont go
