Spent the last week getting rid of moulding lines on the chassis , and constructing the front bash plate out of plasticard and brass rod for the Army spec tow hooks.
Cut out the gap in the front bumper for the tow hitch as well..very fiddly to get right !..
Hopefully pics to follow tommorow..
When its finished I think it will go on ebay.. to finance the next car, been looking at the autoart Sierra Cosworths , really nice looking model loadsa detail as well .

The front bumper needs a bit trimming as its still a bit rough around the edges.. the drill bit is for scale and will be replaced by a scale tow pin.

the bit of plasticard with the white edge , will hold the front bash plate , the U shackles are 1mm brass rod.

Does'nt show up to well in this pic ! but this is the bash plate , made from 1mm plasticard.

most of the detail will be hidden in the finished model..

Re-worked the front bumper and added the aerial mounts on the front wings..They are made from 0.5 plasticard and the hex nuts are etched brass..
Sorry its not Ford .. But an Autoart Cosworth Sierra is being customised in my shed
