Default Many questions about the L8 ECU's

Hi

I've a Sapp 2WD (with the standard loom)

Past months I bought the PF09 TPS and some other parts to get more power on my car and now is time to get the L8 ECU, so:

- To put the L8 on my car and get ALS , is neccesary to do anymore than swap the TPS wires? (obviously I need a chip but I'm asking about modifications out of the ECU and only to get ALS, no LC or closed loop, etc)

- L8 with red label or with green label?

- I'm following a L8 without modifications (a standard without chips). Needs more modifications or only the chip?

- A L8 ECU from a right hand drive car swits to a left hand drive car without modifications?

- And about the chips: I see chips for 803+T38 and for 403+T34. I've some T38's, 403's and 803's but no a T34, 403+T38 is possibly or is too much fuel to that turbo?

Thanks to all

Hi,
The standard L8 with a PF09 TPS is fine and can run all this software as its is:
http://www.motorsport-developments.c...ecu_chips.html

The red and green top are the same ECU and will fit both L & RHD cars.

403 + T38 no problem at all, we can do you a calibration for any setup, but if its the Turbo Technics T38 you would be better upgrading to some bigger injectors as you should always tune with injectors bigger than turbo where possible.

No sir, that is a T3. Capable of around 315 - 320 BHP. The ideal injectors for that turbo are your Bosch 803s.

Oh, sorry for my mistake

Thanks for the info

So, for no more mistakes T34 is from a Escort Cosworth big turbo or from a Sierra Cosworth 4x4?
