Oh is this one yours then. Guessing yours in Anthrite** one of the best colours, next to china blue which is what my mates is. Is it standard power? They are mega cars though bends.

 

My mates got a nicely tuned Rallye, RAPID cars, has dyno'd 212hp and is a match for DC5's etc no problem . If they weren't such a killer on insurance I'd 100% have a 6 for my daily....

Yeah this one is mine, i got her about a month ago i think, it only seems like a few weeks though

Its called Astor Grey and i would obviously say its the best colour

You should see it shine in the sun, the paint is amazing!

They are 167bhp out of the factory, Mines been on the rollers and made 169.8bhp not bad at all i dont think!

Mine isnt that bad on insurance, i paid a fair bit to get it swapped over from my last car but thats mainly charges, my insurance is up for renawal this month anyway so im sure i can sort something out

I renewed my insuance today, got it for an extra Ł2 per month than what i was paying on my Xsi.

I aint fussed about engine mods at the min, ill just buy a faster car if i want a faster car

My brother keeps taking the piss out of me, when the sun shines on it he recons it looks purple

 

In fairness i was after a mint Diablo red one, but this came up over xmas so i did a deal with the guy. At the time i wasnt aware of how rare (some folks say) the Astor Grey colour is.

Now mines been detailed / machine polished / glazed,sealed & waxed it looks loads better.

Shows all the volcanic dust up like a bastard though!

Im keeping mine standard for the moment, get it looking lovely and just enjoy it.

 

Yeah, I gave mine some TCL, spent the best part of the day cleaning it, havent got a machine polished so i have to use man power! I clayed it (dont think it had ever been done before, so that was fun) polished it, Glazed it and then gave it a few coats of wax, the result is the pictures above

They say they are a rare colour, i have seen one round my way, claiming to be 200bhp that is for sale, i never seen another one on the road untill i got my one

So i know what its like to keep clean

I was tempted to go back to cyclones on the gti, but i decided i like the white wheels to much, the way it sits on the 17's is just perfect imo!

Not bad, I've got a few premium rapers recently... sp70, crashed into in the snow .... can't insure much right now

They're not cheap to mod to be fair but seriously worth it, doesn't make fast car numbers but deals with a lot of them...

we just bought a gti 6 for a track car hopefully new engine will be in tomorrow and then i can see what it goes like,its fairly modded so should go well enough.

i've got a china blue hdi d turbo as a daily runner, love it to bits, great to drive and the handleing is immense!
