Default confused.com for modified cars?

need a quote for the mondeo as my current broker has said that the company i was with is no longer continuing to offer insruance so is there a confused dot com type site where i can put in the mods and click loads of quotes or do i need to be dialing the digits and telling my story to every tom dick and tracy on the phone

and if anyones listening to this:

9 years no claims
one other car in the household
selection of other vehicles to use (company cars/vans) during the day to and from work
going to the pod yesterday effectivly doubled the mileage i've done in it this year
2002 mondeo estate ghia x auto
full 2006 st 220 panels all round the outside and inside (other than the seats)
exhaust
air filter
normally parked behind a solid shutter'd gate in the garden
secutrity posts
the street has cctv
cat 1 alarm
no points, no convictions, nothing pending

current renewal price is £540 and last year it was around the £400 mark

what do i do?

Default

well, to cut a long story short, i recived a call from a chap from sky, got a quote, asked him to call back later on in the afternoon when i'd got a quote from the one remaining company i needed to get a quote from

gave me a good price, better than everything i'd previously had, but no return phone call

so today i got a call from the original company i am currently with, who beat the best quote by £40, and seeing as it's only another tenner more than last year, i've decided to stick with them

the moral of the story is either:

find a good price and get them to call you back

or

wait till the very lastminute.com and get the best price
