have you had a focus rs before? reason i ask is because i quite fancy a focus st as my everyday car and am thinking about getting one on finance(only way i will ever keep a car!).ive never driven an st or even been in one but just like the idea.....
but then i think i could get an early e46 m3/audi a4 avant tdi s-line/decent 4x4 like land cruiser for same money and just cant make my mind up what i want!!!
I've not had one before or been in one but I prefer the handling of the mark 1 focus over the mark 2 because the mark 2 is quite heavy and the ST has a big engine over it's nose.
I didn't pay much more cash for my M3 really. ST is a lovely car but it lacks excitement because it's too refined and nose heavy.

[quote=Paulo P;4857632]I'd say it's worth a little more because I just sold my blue ST2 with similar miles but in mint condition for £9k
what year was yours on?i've got my blue st-2 up for sale for £8695 on a 07 plate.

It is a write off tho!
The car in the op is only worth 10k IMO, much lower mileage about for 11k+

I paid just less than 12k for my mint ST2 6 months ago from a dealer, 40k on the clock. Does have the optional dvd navigation pack which is well worth it if you can find it. Was about the going rate at the time.
I've got it remapped and it is a wicked car, fucking thirsty though. Rag the bollocks out of it and don't expect much more than 200 miles from £60 of fuel. On a good day though it'll do around 280 to a tank, still not brilliant so something to think about!
And budget for a new set of front tyres every 6000 miles too lol!

I have just sold my impreza sti type uk and got a 56 plate st3 and I am more than happy with it
obviously its not as quick as the impreza but its a much smoother car to drive. Definately a car you could use everyday.
the one your looking at I think is a little overpriced although quite well specced I was also told to keep away from the orange ones as if you need any paint doing on them its really expensive?
