I used to change the oil every 5k in the RS, it wouldn't have made 60k......or 10k.........

My eldest brother has no idea about cars and done 1 oil change in 5 years. It came out lumpy as hell when I changed it. At the end of the 5 years the engine ceased

All depends on the oil u use a daf xf 105 dose 90,000km on long drain oil before an oil service and they run at much higher oil temps!. But then saying that truck breather systems are much better as they vent to open air u never realy see a truck shited up inside

 

We got an S14 200sx into work running on 3...

took rocker cover off to find the oil was like tar, 2 camshaft spray bars were blocked, both cams fucked (worn badly) all rocker arms worn, one lobe was worn so bad the rocker arm had enough room to fall out and wedge itself in the head, hence it running on 3...

if you come across an engine like that, clean it as best as you can and run it on a good fully synthetic oil (its got some kinda cleaning detergent in it) and after a few K miles and maybe another oil change it should clean the engine up pretty well!

 

 

I am finding it even harder to get my head around the fact the guy has a bonnet bra on a 4 door bmw lol

 

Prick deserves all he gets for running an engine that long without looking after it.
