i used to give my aunty a heart attack everyday when i was on holiday over there coz i would come in to the house with redbacks in a glass jar and say look what i caught, was just a kid so did'nt know any better. that huntsman can give you a right nasty bite though.

most things out here don't bother you at all it was my fault i got bitten last year you just need to take a bit of care, snakes fook off fast as if you come across them it's only if ya tred on one it will bite you. spiders leg it lol he was to quick for me today and ran off under the dash so he will still be in there somewhere i don't want to kill him just get him out ahhaha if i can't find him i have some stuff that will kill everything in the car but feal i should give him a chance lol they are a good spider and eat all the nastey spiders so aren'ta bad thing to have around.

ahahhaha are you all big girls it's a spider ffs it's hardly a man eater. they don't bother me at all tbh 2 mths ago i went night fishing and the boat i was in tipped over throwing us all out into the water it was midnight and pitch black i stayed with the boat for a while but just got the urge to fook off and leave it as all the bait we had and baited crab pots where floating around us, i could just make out our campfire on the shore so after twenty mins of waiting for help to turn up(our so called mate lol) i fooking swam to the shore and left the sinking boat lol. not one of us mentioned the word shark ahahhah not untill we got back on dry land lol. pissed and boats are not a good combo and before you say anything i was not driveing the boat lol

thats only a little huntsman, few times I used to go out the back garden and wonder what was in my dogs mouth, get up close and just see legs poking out after he had caught one of them.

They grow into big buggers but completely harmless, only thing it would do is frighten you to death if it drops out of a tree onto your shoulder which they like to do.

 

my aunty moved to perth in oz 40 year ago and has never seen a snake, plenty of lizards and spiders but like badnews has said snakes will try and get away from confrontation with humans unless its a king brown then your fucked lol.

I (well my ex) used to have a red kneed tarantula as a pet, big fucker it was, gentle as fuck though, used to feel mad walking on your hand.

I used to hate spiders, but think they're ace now, don't mind snake either, it's flying insects, wasps and shit, that I really hate, had one fly in the car last summer when I was bombing it down some dual carriageway, I very nearly just opened the car door and bailed out at 80mph, shit mesen I tell thee.
