Does anyone have any idea roughly how much it costs to have a T34 over hauled ... its partially seized, still turns, but has play in the shaft... Only want peoples opinion whether I buy a new one or have mine over hauled.... I also have a T38 I bought from Flea Bay., the Turbo itself is perfect except some clown has welded up the Lambda senor hole on the top.... Anyone any ideas where I can get this sorted out.. Thanks to all that can be bothered replying constructively ....

 

t34 rebuilds are roughly between 200-500 depending upon the amount of damage you have done.

first time my t34 was rebuilt it cost around 2-250 and the last time it was rebuilt was around 500 - and it got rebuilt plenty of times inbetween.

I was running the turbo was on its knees hence why it needed a rebuild 12-18 months

Oh and with regards to the welds for the lambda - can you not drill through this and weld in your own boss?
