2.0 zetec question

I have just got a new cam cover but it did not come with what looks like a baffle on the inside of the cover, i cant get 2 of the torx screws out of the baffle on the old one to fit to the new one. Will i be ok to run it without it or will it need fitting? Many thanks. J

i'd fit one as its there to stop oil being thrown down the breather.
