Default Where the hell do ford get their prices from!!

Went to order a replacement turbo oil return pipe for my RS Turbo today from my local ford dealer. Fuck me dead if they didn't want £61.73 for it!!!! For a 3 inch bit of rubber piping????!!! It wants to be made of bloody gold for that price. Needless to say I left there only ordering the spring clips to hold it in place!! Anyone else have any stories of massively inflated prices?

New bleed valves for brake calipers(or what's it called) cost 55NOK(~£5,5) at the local ford. The small ones you use when you bleed the brakes.

I was like

Went to the local parts dealer and got them for 11NOK(~£1,1)

Then I was like

Btw, this thread made me giggle

They have a habit of bumping up the prices mate especially for the older cars, RS's and the like

I bought a rad for my cossie when I first bought it about 8 years ago, £190, now they are asking £240 for the same part

To be fair, it cost money to stock old items like that.
