dave two options fella ,

if your having it rebuilt , have the cases blasted and powdercoated before reassembly ,

or once its all back together , clean , degrease and paint in 2k , just mask of the flanges ,

frost restoration do a really good paint called aluma-blast , its a alloy effect paint , very durable used it to paint cylinder heads , inlets ect ,

comes in both tin and areosol ,

hope this helps fella ,

davecosworth: Nice job that on the diff

Did you just have it sandblasted and then paint it yourself or have it powdercoated?

If painted what type of paint did you use?

thanks

Old thread I know....

But I've got a litre of Eastwoods Aluma Blast and it does'nt look Silver at all, it has a fair bit of Gold in it and dries to more of a Bronze finish
