Default Shock absorbers, Focus RS MK1

I'm looking for a pair of new front shock absorbers for the Focus RS MK1 but what to choose? Been told that Bilstein doesn't make shocks for the MK1 and i've got problems finding any other ones that supplies for this car too.

Is there special shocks designed for the RS MK1 or does the ST170 ones fit?

Sachs(standard) are the only option for our cars fm Ford I'm sorry to say. no real aftermarket choice!!!
The other option is to go coilover fm the likes of KW Variant 3's which are £1k
or a cheaper option is GAZ or AP

nick

Hope accross to RSOC for more info Focus page of course

Thanks for the answer. Does anyone knows the Sachs part number on these? Managed to get hold of a pair from Sachs that will arrive tomorrow, let's hope they are right. But according to the part catalog it unfortunately seems like they are similar to absorbers from a standard Focus.
