well i have been on the hunt again and found anothe mk2 escort, a very nice chap got me the number of the owner to this car. anyway it is a 1.6 gl total std down to it's chrome hub caps. it is all original paint and panels and only needs 3 very minor rust repairs. it is a one owner car an old dear owned it from new complete with seat covers and original ford mud flaps lol. anyway this is what i found.






so there it is looking very sad at the moment but i will bring it back to life with a wash and brush up later this week lol.
and all for £200 ahahhahhahah another one to add to the growing collection lol. the fella that put me onto it has found me another as well so i may have another before next weekend. i still want a mk1 but one will turn up eventualy

ahahhha mate i could not turn it down they are still thin on the ground here and 2drs are quite rare so i just paid the $400 and thanked them very much
