i have had a faulty cam it has bin ground wrong anyone had any problem

 

people on here have had grief with kent and piper,but aint heard of trouble with newmans,tell us more?........

 

Mine's pretty noisy. it was suppose to go back to Jamsport to get a new one fitted, but my headgasket went the other day

 

Yup mine was ground so out of spec it created 0psi oil pressure and did a shit load of damage! Thats why i've gone back to kent with my new build and had no issues.

How did that happen mate, and how can a incorrectly ground profile effect your oil pressure?
Karl Norris did tell me that they went through a patch of receiving out of spec kits, IIRC it was the lifters that were wrong.
But they at least produce cams/lifters from good quality blanks.... which is something!

 

Have heard a few of these being like this recently, mines been in the car for about 3k miles now and has been fine..touch wood...
