lcd or led tele
thought led being the new technology was supposed to be better than lcd.....but a conversation with a curry's guy told me that lcd was better for gaming but led was better picture.......i,m now confused so whats your views on them guys.
LED is the future, although we are still to see OLED which will allow paper thin TVs. The guy in currys cleary has no idea. They will both be better for gaming over plasma which is said to have a warmer picture and therefore better for movies.
Essentially LED and LCD tvs are the same the only difference between them is the way they are backlit. However currently LED tvs are expensive compared to LCD.

I heard that LED's suffer from motion blur. They all have pro's and con's.
I was all set on a Panasonic Plasma, EVERYONE on AV Forums said it was an excellent set in its price range, but when I went to see it in action, I just didn't like the picture. I went for a Sony LCD.

Yeah, i havent seen them in action yet, just pics only, but you have to have the 3d glasses to get the full benefit or something, theyre a couple hundred per pair for extras, and you need the player also iirc. but now they have the technology, i guess it can only get better??
