I was all set on a Panasonic Plasma, EVERYONE on AV Forums said it was an excellent set in its price range, but when I went to see it in action, I just didn't like the picture. I went for a Sony LCD.
all depends where you go and view them and how they have it setup
theres no doubt that apart from the (pioneer) the panasonic produces the best picture quality and blacks IMO
