Default general election voting question.

can you vote for a party that arnt running in your town? Or just who are?

You can only vote for a Candidate who has decided to stand for election in your voting ward, not a party.
If none of your candidates are members of the party you are thinking about, there's nothing you can do about it, apart from having moved to a ward where they are represented and registering to vote there in time for the next election.
