Thanks for the comments, I'm over the moon with it and the spec was exactly what I wanted, knew it would fit in well on here lol

Cossie is staying for the moment, they have roughly the same BHP but they are completely different cars.

Cosworth has more torque and there is alot more drama in the power delivery due to the turbo (T34), chassis & 15" wheels I run & the M3 is alot more refined.

Head to head I'm not sure which would be quicker

The 1st part is definitely true, I just took a mate out for a blast and turned the DSC off coming into a roundabout, gave it some beans in 2nd and fuck me does she want to play Did the same again with the DSC on and she moved slightly but stayed under total control.

cracking cars these tho i would advise you to take off the front undershield and have a look at the steering rack as everyone of these ive ever worked on (lots as my boss loves them) the rack is always leaking and the cover usually catches all the fluid so you dont notice till its too late!

Big fan PP... very big fan.

I'm seriously thinking about one of these as my next car. Not desperately looking, a lot seem to be a bit unloved from the little nosey I've had.. CSL wheels would be a definite mod that I'd make, they look epic on the E46.

Cheers,
Grant

Your recent writeup about these whilst I was trying to sell the ST to buy this really really didn't help I saw this car for sale about 3 weeks ago and because of work commitments I couldn't advertise my car until 2 weeks ago so I thought I'd lost it.

Once mine sold on Tuesday I sent the guy a pm to see if it was sold and to my surprise it hadn't and he was on holiday!

The CSL wheels were a must have plus the condition & it had to be silver or grey without a red leather interior and had to be a manual hard top lmao

Picky Moi?

Haha, glad you found my write up helpful mate... if a little expensive.

I'm just as picky as you were; I'd like a coupe in Silver Grey, Carbon Black, Estoril Blue or Imola Red with Nav/TV, Harmon Kardon and Heated Seats. No point settling for something that you're not totally happy with when you're spending decent cash on a car!!

Sounds like it was meant to be with the guy being on holiday and your car going so quickly. Your M3 looks very very clean, the leather looks almost new.. even on the drivers seat?! Given your fondness for steering from the rear, I'm sure you'll learn to really love the M3 mate. Haha

Cheers,
Grant

I am proper picky Grant and it has all the extras I believe like the rear parking sensors, tv, harmon kardon, sat nav etc and it's in amazing condition.

The ones I looked at last year the seats were worn but these are like new. The gap pricewise between the ST and M3 wasn't great enough to matter to be honest, the M3 is great value for money, group 20 insurance on 2 cars isn't great though I love it though Grant and every petrol head should feel like that......

lol at the tags but I still own a quick sapph
