Well after months and months doing a ground up full bare metal restoration on a barn find 1952 sunbeam talbot 90 for a friend me and my mate (who owns treefeilds garage) thought its about time we stopped talking about it and started up our own little firm custom retro creations and as so we need a demo car .So me being a ford head and by pure chance of finding a car the other week we are all set to go

now at this stage im not going to give to much away just know its going to very retro but with some tastefull twists .

so here is the old girl the day we picked her up

 

got some pics from last weekend when we moved it into the far end to dry out

 

Will keep an eye on this

 

it will be going into the main workshop in the next week or so to be gutted down to a shell and put on the stand so keep your eye out for an update

right got the car into the main work shop tonight and emptied out of all the spares and started to strip it all the bolt off panels are now off as is the steering column and pedal box .








all the crap from in the car lol

yer just one arch a bit on the battery tray and a very small bit on the floor . thats why we went for this shell very rare for such a clean one on this age

 

ok been trying to get some more bits done on the escort this week stripped the tank out and all the fuel line and rear brake lines , removed what was left of the engine and the 4 speed box gutted all the front braking system servo master cylinder lines disks calipers ect ect and removed the rack

 

picked this up today tgut for parts for escort and before anyone says anything yes it looks ok outside but this shell is so far gone underneath even me the die hard escort lover is not going to try and restore it

 

nice little project. shame about the s2,so many rs's look great on top its when you get underneath you see the horrors.

We are tucked away so not easy to find! if it looks familiar you must have taken a wrong turn!

 

Turbo was on ebay but guy got messed about by winning bidder so I stepped in to help out! good for bits but nowt else!
