Default fuel pump

anyone know the correct part number for a rs turbo fuel pump? i can find 3 diff ones on ebay but some are 5 bar and some are 6 bar, which one?

also you can use a sierra 2wd cosworth pump. i use one of them and i'm very satisfied! the 2wd part number is the same with -941 at the end..

910 is the rs turbo pump, 941 is the 2wd cossie one and better performance, there is of course the 979 which is better again then the 044 one, the last two need fittings for them to fit directly and wires altering for the connectors.
the latter two are good for at least 500bhp or there abouts though, so probably overkill.

Yeah which is plenty for any 1.6CVH, when you consider that a FRST runs 3bar and a Cossie runs 3.5bar!

it's not only pressure but flow too, if you can run more pressure down th eline, then you will get more volume per second out the end, i.e. the injectors as the pressure can and will drop further down the line.
some of the better 044 pumps can give out 8BAR, even though injectors don't tend to run more than 3-3.5 BAR.
