Default Silicone hose v brake fluid

I've just removed my ABS but still have the original reservoir. I found a bit of silicone hose in my toolbox the perfect length to block off the outlets, but what I need to know is whether the bit of hose will be up to the job as a temporary fix before getting a non-ABS reservoir? Is the brake fluid going to attack the hose and make it leak? Any help appreciated

Pic of what I mean, just in case, - you can see the U shape hose on the reservoir:

If it's Fluro lined then should be ok (not 100% though), like a fuel line or oil line is, otherwise no!
