bought this lot as a project was going to rebuild and keep as a spare,the engine was running fine with no knocks or rattles but was smoking,new turbo was added but still smoked it was stripped for inspection and was found to be the block (overbored) and slightly ovaled.still have the block as still has nearly new oil pump/water pump etc still fitted,also 2 sets of pistons standard with rods and arp bolts and a set of accrelites the accrelites where in a high spec engine and only done approx 50 miles before spec was changed they were originally supplied by mountune,
basically everything is there apart from an exhaust manifold and turbo
ie
complete head with camcover etc as removed
block with near new oil/water pump etc
2wd sump
pick up pipe
dizzy
crank was no knocks but is marked so would get checked still has the shells fitted etc
2 sets pistons standard with rods and arp bolts plus set of accrelites
complete inlet manifold plus a freshly refurbed powdercoated one

and any other bits i can find that ive forgotten that go with it

due to weight pick up only from sunderland tyne and wear £650 ono

How bad was the smoking and when did it happen, on overrun, throttle? Just curious

 

are you open to offers on this as its a bit far from me?

what size and comp are the pistons do there have valve cut outs and if only dun 50 miles the rings will be as new as well
