As title people, i know mazuma, but is there any others i should try?

And secondly they say they do bank transfers, did anyone do it that way and did you have any problems etc?

Mazuma have always been good for me tbh. Used them 4/5 times now i think.

They just send a cheque, usually within 3 working days, then its cleared 5ish working days after you put it in the bank.

we said the phone was brand new, which it was at the time ( only released that month)
still boxed etc...
the most we was offered........

25 quid.... for a phone worth 300..... hmmm,

i would suggest going into a phone shop and haggling

How did you find out they bought phones? ive never seen any signs saying they will buy phones, although the N97 is not THAT old really, maybe its just newer phones they buy

Well I wanted an I-phone and I was in there on my phone and when I said 'I'm too tight to pay the deposit' he said 'Why not use that phone?' I thought they wouldn't want it, as it was completelty trashed. The lock/unlock button wasn't there anymore and the screen didn't sit flat as the plastic was bent. However, he took it away and scanned it and then offered me 160.

At first he said he had to give me a gift card, which didn't bother me as I used it for a deposit. But, then he put the couple of pound change on my card, so they can do it that way.

Ahhh i dout very much they would just buy a phone for cash though, they just wanted your custom on the iphone i expect.
I could always ask as i live near a carphone warehouse.

You idiot

If you have ever actually done it before, then you will know that even before you send the phone, they ask you for the phone's IMEI number, so they can check the stolen phone database to make sure it isn't stolen

Read the small print....

It used to be something along the lines of

Once you send the phone to us we will not return it

then later on it says if not described we will pay you the money we think its worth...

So I put it on ebay lol as it wouldn't be hard to fault a n97 LOL

some sites offer more money than mazuma, but its subject to its condition, so it may well end up being less.

mazuma only want the phone to work, not bothered about anything else, scratches etc

even your local CEX or similar wil offer more money.

Ebay is best though. Always got at least double what the crappy mobile phone sites offer.

I just got almost £79 for my N95 - and that is £10 more than the upgrade cost me over three years ago.
Thanks Envirophone.
