Default Stage 3 Cosworth upgrades

Hi guys and gals,

Just asking some advice.

I have just bought a T34.48 turbo yesterday with a -34 actuator attached. My car is stage 1 chipped at the moment with a standard T3 turbo on there. What other bits do i need to produce some decent figures? I would like to reach around 330 - 350 bhp. Please give me some advice on what to do? Also do i need to get anything else to fit the turbo or will it just bolt straight on?

many thanks

lee

you will need a new chip, a stage 3 one, 3 bar map sensor bigger intercooler preferably rs 500 allthough this isnt essential and new injectors best to take it to motorsport developments and get them to stage 3 it, with that turbo you should easy make the power you are after

Lee,

You'll need a 500 cooler, i'd opt for some Siemens injectors, chip. clutch if it hasn't already, Head Gasket 3bar and that's pretty much it mate.

Greens would probably do you, but incase you decide to change the housing or even turbo later down the line i'd go for some 55lbs..

Green injectors, 3 bar map, suited chip and cooler. Would consider an 044 pump with rewire
If you dont have a 3" system would be most welcome

803's (Green Bosch Injectors) or Siemens 55LB, 3 bar MAP sensor, a chip written for your turbo, critically the exhaust housing .48 and then things like CO, AFR, amal valve needs jetting correctly to or removing as case may be.

Std pump is fine just make sure which should have been done already even if standard is the wiring is up to the job or a rewire, same applies to fans. Most importantly the health of the engine needs to be known as well, also if you have uprated head gasket or not.

As far as i know the engine and wiring is completely standard apart from the Magnex exhaust and the independant fan loom i fitted.

roughly what would be the cost of the head gasket fitted?
