Default Problem with my sapph

Hi guys

Last months I rebuild one of my sapphs and now when the car starts first time I found one problem

The first cilinder (the one near the timing belt) fails but the injector is running ok and the spark plug is ok too. I'll try with the ecu of my other sapph and the problem is the same

What can be the problem? what sensors uses the first cilinder?

Regards

EDIT: Comprenssion is ok too in all the cilinders

check that the plug lead isn't arcing onto the plenum - try starting the car at night time when it's dark and looking for a spark

What he ^^ said, won't be ECU this dosen't control spark rather just switches coil which is working, if not will be lead itself or the connection for this cylinder on dizzy cap. Have you checked it's not the plug itself?

In what way do you mean fails ?
As it is getting a decent spark and fuel signal, now swap the inejctors around(with other cylinders) and see if the problem moves with that injector or spark plug, to narrow down.

If I swap the injectors the problem persist on cilinder 1

I try with a new set of spark plugs, new plug leads and a new complete distributor (with dizzy cap, phase sensor and all) and the problem persist

I tried with the two ecus of my other cosworths and with another fuel rail (with injectors and fuel regulator) and the problem is the same

Today I "know" some news about the problem: the car starts ok but after 10 seconds (aprox) starts to fail (notes the sound of a car running on 3 cilinders). And I think that at high rpm the car don't fail (I throw out the spark lead on cil 1 at idle and the car still exactly failing and with the 2,3 or 4 the car goes worst. But at high rpm I throw out any of the leads and the car goes worst so I think that at high rpm the car goes good)

Sorry for my bad english

Regards
