i dont think i would give 3k for a D-Reg one mate, unless its really really mint.

180 -190 bhp is reliable as long as the right things are in place and its been setup.

you can get a nice 90spec G or H plate for 3k! maybe just a little more!

As for 190bhp aint hard to get with the right bits! buit trust me you wont stay happy for long!! stage 2 turbo (low lag) high lift cam,16psi of boost, chiped ecu, zorst, free flow air filter (ion air box) (NO DUMP VALVE) and either grs,pro alloy, rad tec...(yes even small pace) should see ya around the 180/190bhp mark! and cus you will have small zorst houseing on turbo it will be useable in town too!

I done it that was except the cam (i was std) and i have a stg 3 turbo! and piper cross induction!

so thats what i would say for 180/190bhp so long as its on a sound engine!

Tho peeps might disagree with me!

Have a good look for rot around the rear chassis its a bit of a problem on S2 on that year. also the front panel behind the bumper, and front box section,

yes i would pay 3k for a minter, irrespective of how old it is. unless you have a prob with the 88 spec looks and are just after a 90 spec.

ive known 200hp ones be solid as a rock for a number of years so it should be fine, as said above, if the right mods have been done to achieve that figure!
