MSD suggested set it to 10psi and bleed off another 10psi.
so a combined total of 20psi, using whatever bleed device you wish, i use a gizzmo IBC.
you can of course go a little more, i'm on a collins actuator with new spring fitted and it hits 14psi without the need for bleeding off.

ok . my car is standard but i have bought a -31 and turbo system ecu i was going to run it at 7 psi until my new clutch is in.

will a -31 do 7psi? if not i just wont let it boost as my fueling was set last year for 7 psi?

will be getting it tuned to run a bar as soon as the new clutch is in

you can drop some preload to lower the boost level, but likely to spike more.
