Terry davies 9 second run at pod

Terry Davies run his mk2 escort up pod at the weekend and done 3x 9.8 quarters @144mph. Well done Terry, you finally got into the 9's with a standard T5 gearbox too

The clips not great, but you can see the nearside front wheel lifting on launch

Basically Cossie turbo with GT30 and external wastegate.
BD14's, L8 ecu, all simple stuff really. Standard T5 gearbox and some nos.

Awesome! Iv been waiting for him to do a 9 for years.he was close 4 years ago but then the car disapeared.Glad its still about and hope to see it at central day.Home built engine with a tight budget too.well done.

Amazing stuff , I remember a couple of years back him runing 10.3 and that was with no gas. I remember being in the right hand lane at the pod, i knew he was going to be quick but thats something eles

Seen him do a 10.01 once at 145mph and that was without gas! Total sleeper of a car too,complete with 1.3 badge on the boot.
