Default cheapest place to buy a cam / camkit?

as title really, anybody know of any going cheap? dont really want to give burton £320 for a piper or kent kit. thanks

as above and should last as long as anyother.
otherwise just search the net for ford cam kits and you'll find somewhere cheaper.
all depends on level of tune you're after.

theres an fai kit with folllowers on fleabay for £80.
ive already got a 285t2 in but i think its gone a bit rounded ive tried new followers but i dont think its helped. for some reason it just taps when been parked up overnight when you first start it. does my fking head in. its got a big valve head onso think i may be best getting a performance one?

From what I have read on here the T2 is not very good, what you would want is the 285T or failing that alot of people swear by the Newmans but that uses solid lifters that need careful and frequent adjustment.

Cams don't last very long anyway on a modfied CVH engine so I would otherwise use a standard cam and put the money towards something else i.e head work or decent intercooler.

/\ totally agree with the above, spending money on a cam is a waste of money if your gearbox is going to die frequently like mine has, best to make sure everything else is upto the job before getting a power hike/surge IMO.
